Description

Mechanical sludge removal

The high-powered vacuum and delivery system comprises.

A skid mounted high-powered variable vacuum system capable of providing 27”Hg / 0.9 bar vacuum in combination with a mobile variable speed discharge system that can discharge slurries and liquids at up to 70 M³/Hr and distances of more than 100M dependant on slurry properties.

Driven by two diesel engines the system provides autonomous operation, capable of handling slurries containing solids in excess of 2”.

In addition to discharge of bottom sludge from storage tanks, the system is suitable to perform.

VACUUM UNIT

Driven by the integrated 6.5L diesel engine with power take off a black forest water ring pump produces a high level of vacuum. A cyclone tank with vacuum regulation valve allows complete control of the level of vacuum. The vacuum system, normally used in conjunction with the discharge system, it is also a standalone unit capable of use wherever high vacuum levels are required.

DELIVERY/SUCTION HOSES

Supplied high quality heavy-duty rubber tanker hoses plus lightweight flexible hoses all fitted with 6” brass camlocks for easy connection. These hoses connect the vacuum and discharge units, also used as suction or discharge hoses. Used separately or in conjunction with rigid pipelines to provide vacuum or discharge over longer distances.

DELIVERY UNIT

The integrated 6.5L diesel engine powers an adapted Reed B70 positive displacement reciprocating piston pump. The integrated vacuum bunker allows simultaneous filling and discharge operations. An automatic vacuum breaker protects overfill and stops carryover to the vacuum system. The system is fitted with a mixer for breaking large particles and is fitted with variable speed control. The pump is reversible to clear any blockages that may occur in the discharge line.
