Specifically chosen for the ability to operate in remote locations, additional key auxiliary equipment required during crude oil washing provides for the independent performance of the cleaning operations.
Terminal utility supplies are not always reliable or available, cleaning operations should be autonomous wherever possible.
STORAGE TANKS
Storage tanks for water and diesel provide the necessary autonomy to operate independently for terminal utility supplies.
NITROGEN GENERATOR
Capable of producing 400 M³/Hr, with a purity of 95% and pressure up to 10 bar, the Nitrogen generator in conjunction with oxy-gen monitoring fulfils a key role in ensuring safety during the operation.
AIR COMPRESSORS
Electric drive compressors producing 2400 L/min at 10 bar provide the drive force for the jet washers and SRS pneumatic valves during SRS operations. Also used to provide the compressed air required during vertical steel cleaning of tank walls.
DIESEL ELECTRIC GENERATOR
High electric power consumption is necessary during cleaning to run the equipment. A selection of Electric power generators form 50 KW up to 400KW provide the necessary power independently from the terminal.
DIESEL STEAM GENERATOR
Steam is rarely available at storage terminals, a transportable steam generation system provides up to 4000 Kg of superheated steam (170°C), sufficient for all heat exchangers or live steam requirements during cleaning.
During cleaning operations, not all equipment is required on every occasion. A lack of equipment however, adversely affects the possibilities and flexibility to perform efficiently.
The nature of commercial storage tank cleaning requires expensive tailored equipment, be that hydraulic power units, ventilators or simple transfer pumps.
In addition to tailored solution, specialised tank cleaning equipment is available for hire or long-term lease. Please see our rental section for details or contact us for further information.
